Currently, CAMOS has more than 75
dues-paying members and an email list of more than 150 scholars and
practitioners. Members include faculty, post-doctoral scholars, and
graduate students from civilian universities and colleges in the US,
UK, Canada, Mexico, and Japan; faculty from National Defense
University, the US Army War College, the US Naval War College, and the
School of Advanced Airpower Studies; and practitioners from the US
government and several think tanks.
CAMOS members have access to a
closed listserve on which they can locate scholars with whom to
collaborate in proposing panels or writing papers, bring job postings
or conference opportunities to the group's attention, and post links to
noteworthy news items, papers, or articles. Members also have access to
a closed membership directory with links to security and
strategy-related working papers, syllabi, and simulations.

Annual dues (which cover the
period from September 1 to August 31) are $20 for faculty and
practitioners, $15 for post-doctoral scholars, $10 for graduate
students, and $5 for low income or unemployed persons.
